Binyam’s quickly become established as a dedicated and emerging leader within the Manitoba basketball community. In just three years of coaching, he’s been an assistant coach for Oak Park JV Boys, J.H. Bruns JV Boys, Jr.Bisons 15U Boys, Junior Legacy 16U Boys, and head coach for the boys freshman at J.H. Bruns, while working Mini U/Jr. Bisons basketball developmental and high performance camps alongside the Bisons men’s coaching staff in the summers and Sunday skills session throughout the rest of the year and aiding in 17U Boys Provincial Tryouts.

Binyam has a strong passion for athlete development and his genuine investment in the young people he coaches. As a University of Manitoba education student, Binyam brings the mindset of both a teacher and coach, helping players grow physically, mentally, and emotionally through basketball.
